The Beatles always called her "good ol' Freda." Freda Kelly was the secretary of the Official Beatles' Fan Club from 1963 - 1972. More importantly, she was the loyal Beatles' friend.
Freda met the Fab Four when they were still playing the Cavern Club and even is mentioned by George Harrison in their first flexi-disc Christmas record.
Soon, in a documentary film, Good Ol' Freda, she'll be able to tell all about her life and times with the band. The film is being done with the support of the living Beatles and will feature original Beatles' music.
I had the pleasure of meeting Freda again when I was in Liverpool. Now I can't wait to see the film!
