Gail Renard is a Bafta award-winning writer, performer and producer. Her work includes various BBC, ITV and C4 comedy and children’s series, as well as books, films, radio and stage plays.
Gail's latest book, John Lennon: Give Me A Chance, is based on her true story of sneaking into John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s famous Bed-In for peace to get an interview for her school newspaper. The Lennons asked Gail to stay for all eight days and she’s been writing ever since.
Gail is currently co-producing and co-writing an exciting new online show for pre-school children, Monty & Co, coming to screens soon. She’s also proud to be associated with the British Comedy Awards, both as a presenter and judge, and is a member of the British Comedy Awards Academy. Gail is the Chair of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain and also a member of Bafta. She passionately defends people's rights, still fighting for justice as John and Yoko taught her. |
